2025-26 RBDPL: Update through 2025-12-09

I’m well overdue to post an update, especially since the holiday season seems to be packed with fixtures. As such, we’ve seen a big shift at the top of the RBDPL standings, with Gary leaping ahead of both Geoff and Stuart. Gary has picked up 17 wins and 77 RBD Points since the last update; Stuart is a distant second with 10 wins and 35 RBD points.

Looking at everyone’s RBD Points progression since the October international break, Gary (light blue line) has been on an impressive tear.

The upcoming weekend’s EPL matchups are highlighted by Manchester City’s tough visit to Crystal Palace and the first top-flight Tyne-Wear Derby since March 2016 as Sunderland hosts Newcastle. In Serie A, the most intriguing matchups are at the bottom of the table, as winless last-place Fiorentina hosts 19th-place Hellas Verona, while Pisa visits Lecce in another potential relegation 6-pointer.

Lastly, as we approach the halfway point of the season, the Power Rankings are mostly aligned with the current standings, with the exception of Kaucher ultimately moving ahead of a stubborn Bruno Fernandes.
